Design

When it comes to building a new home, you have a vision.

As your trusted home builders, the first thing we do is find out what that vision is so we can share it with you.
This involves some discovery up front:

Understanding your lifestyle.

In the best homes, form follows function. How you live is as important as where you live and it informs our approach every step of the way.

We’re going to ask some questions that feel a little personal, but that’s because we know there are few more intimate relationships than the one you have with your home builder.

Learning about your budget.

We want to make the most of your vision, and we’ll never try to sell you on ideas you can’t afford.

We’ll use our decades of expertise to let you know if your wish list is feasible at the price point you’re aiming for—and how you might make substitutions that deliver on what you’re wishing for within budget.

Helping you select the right plot of land for your home.

We can provide useful insights on how your new home will sit in physical space, which can be helpful when you’re deciding where to put it.

Providing advice and guidance based on what we learn from you.

This involves:

  • Drafting the design and layout of your new home.
  • Creating a realistic home construction schedule that keeps your project on time and on budget.
  • Helping you make your interior selections: Materials, finishes, colors…everything that makes your house feel like your home the second you move in.

Build

This is where the magic happens in the home-building process.

And because we’ve planned and consulted with you carefully along the way, it’s typically the easiest. Just turn us loose to do what we do best. An added bonus of partnering with us is that you won’t have to worry about managing outside contractors or supervising the day-to-day operations at the build. We take care of it all while keeping you informed all the way.

This stage involves:

  • The physical construction of your home. From the foundation to the finishing touches, we make sure your home is built to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Staying on schedule. We pride ourselves on setting expectations and then sticking to them. If things change, there’ll be a good reason for it and there shouldn’t be any surprises.
  • Adapting and responding to any necessary adjustments in plans. Sometimes, things just happen that we can’t anticipate. We commit to full transparency in these situations if they arise.
  • Your walkthrough and move-in.
